Who is Fernando Guimaraes?
Fernando Guimarães, current Vice-President of SINARJ, is a researcher, consultant and professor of Contemporary Astrology since 1982. He began his studies in São Paulo, at Escola Régulos, and Astrocenter, He founded an Astrology Association in 1987, in Campinas, SP , where he taught basic level for two years, and wrote for a local weekly newspaper. He graduated from the University of São Paulo in 1993 as an English teacher and translator. His interests include Linguistics Education, History (especially French Astrology, World and Uranian Astrology) Metaphysics and Research (Childhood Trauma, Drug Addiction and Sexuality) Joined the NCGR (National Council for Geocosmic Research) in 1995 for the Kansas Education Conference City, Missouri. Presented research at NCGR Conferences in 2007 in Baltimore and 2010 in Boston. Candidate for NCGR Certification Level III. He was Director of Research at the NCGR in Boston in 2008. He is also a member of AFAN (Association for Astrological Networking) and ISAR (International Society for Astrological Research), participating in numerous events and conferences (UAC, etc.). Member of CNA (Central Nacional de Astrologia – Brazil) since 2008, and ASPAS (Portugal). AFAN (USA) coordinator for Brazil. He participated in SINARJ events in 1985, 1986 and in 2012, 2013 as a lecturer. At the moment, she writes a book, translates, travels with workshops, gives consultations and sets up an online course.
